Class B Misdemeanor:
  • Up to a $2,000 fine
  • Up to 180 days in jail
  • Possible driver’s license suspension: 90 days to 1 year

Class A Misdemeanor:
  • to a $4,000 fine
  • Up to 1 year in jail

Felony Conviction Penalties:
  • Up to a $10,000 fine
  • State jail felony – 180 days to 2 years in the state penitentiary
  • Third degree – 2 to 10 years in the state penitentiary
  • Second degree – 2 to 20 years in the state penitentiary
  • First degree – 5 to 99 years in the state penitentiary
